8. Delta Sky Magazine (Pay unknown)
Delta Sky is one of the most well-known of all the in-flight magazines.
- They're seeking "well-crafted travel, lifestyle, and business tales."
- Your feature story might be small (100 words) or long (2,000 to 4000 comments).

9. MotorHome ( $900 per post)
It is a magazine for R.V. fans, as the name implies. And, as you might expect, they're looking for articles on the R.V. lifestyle.
The following are some of the things that they are interested in:

- The most up-to-date R.V.s on the market
- Do-it-yourself (RV-related) projects
- Service and maintenance suggestions for R.V.s
- They do require a four to six-month lead time.
Pay ranges from $100 to $900 per article.

10. Vibrant Life (per post, $100-$300)
Vibrant life is a bimonthly magazine that focuses on healthy living from a Christian viewpoint — physically, intellectually, and spiritually.
One exciting aspect about this one is that, in some cases, they will accept previously published articles.
According to their rules website, they will consider items that have already been published elsewhere if:
- The writer has only sold one-time rights to the content or has written permission to resell it elsewhere without a reprint credit.
- The cost of an article might range from $4100 to $300.
11. The War Cry ($0.35 per word)
It is a Salvation Army magazine that has been published for almost 135 years!
They are compensated per word:
- Original material costs $0.35 per word.
- $0.15 for content that has already been published
12. Guideposts (per post costs $250)
They welcome articles based on true tales of people who used their religion to attain particular goals, overcome difficulties, or learn lessons.

13. Chicken Soup for the Soul (per article costs $200)
Here's what they're looking for:

The AARP magazine accepted money, health, business, food, travel, relationships, and other themes.
They don't mention how much they pay each word on the site, but I'm guessing it's around $1.

16. Tor (Unknown pay)
There are three types of submissions they accept:
- Short stories that are original
- Novella
- Non-Fiction
They provide an advance against royalties for Novella submissions. Its size will be determined by criteria such as the length of the tale and its commercial potential.
They'll send you a detailed invoice for non-fiction work. They no longer accept original short fiction as of January 7, 2017.
17. Clarkesworld (per post $500 to $1380)
Clarkesworld is a science fiction journal that has won several awards, including three Hugo Awards.
- Each article is limited to 1000 to 16000 words.
- For the first 5000 words, you will be paid 10¢ per word, and for each term after that, you will be paid 8¢ per word.
18. Harper's Magazine (Unknown pay)
Harper is a monthly publication based in the United States that offers information on a wide range of topics.
On the site, there is no information on how much they pay.
19. The New Yorker (Unknown Pay)
With a broad international readership, this is perhaps the most financially successful magazine. You can submit short tales to take advantage of the site's astronomically large viewership.
They don't specify how much it will pay, but they warn it might take up to 6 months to hear back. So if you need money quickly, this isn't the ideal solution.
But it's a fantastic way to get your work and identity out there.
20. Asimov's Science Fiction (up to $1,600 per article)
Asimov's name is synonymous with science fiction, and his works have received widespread praise worldwide.
The compensation is $0.08 per word, with a maximum of $1,600 per story.

- The fee is $.50 to $1.50 per word, with a limit of 2,400 words (which is impressive given they are a non-profit company).

It is a teacher-oriented publication. Their target demographic is PreK-12 educators across the country.
They are looking for the following kind of content:

iPhone Life Magazine has a sizable following of iOS fans. This is an excellent choice if you can write about the iOS platform and anything linked to it.

WordPress, the world's most excellent and most popular CMS (Content Management System) (Yes, MoneyPantry runs on WordPress!), is featured prominently in the design.
- Anything WordPress-related is OK.

99. PhotoshopTutorials.ws (tutorials range from $25 to $300)
PhotoshopTutorials.ws, like the Layout, has a lot of excellent educational material, but it focuses on Photoshop.

DigitlaOcean is a fantastic cloud hosting provider with a plethora of capabilities. They also act as a tutorial and step-by-step guide library for Linux and FreeBSD cloud hosting.
- Complete instruction will set you back $200, while shorter tutorials will set you back approximately $100.
101. Polygon ($0.25 per word)
Polygon focuses on computers and video games.
- They urge people to write short tales (approx 500 words.)
- Expect to pay around 25¢ for each word.
