The long-rumored February Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, the company's first big hardware launch event in 2022, has finally been confirmed. There, the firm will unveil the latest Galaxy series flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S22, with rumors circulating that a Galaxy Tab S8 may also make a debut. Samsung hasn't specified a date for the February Unpacked event, however reports have suggested that it would take place between February 8 and February 11.
This year, Samsung's inaugural Galaxy Unpacked Event takes on a new role. With no Note series phone coming, expectations are high for what Samsung can do to make its ordinary, non-foldable smartphone launch exciting.
What else is on the way from Unpacked?
Aside from claiming that the S22 Ultra will be the most "Note-worthy S series smartphone" ever, implying that it will be a Galaxy Note replacement, Samsung's TM Roh, president of Samsung Mobile, sets a high standard for this upcoming Galaxy. At the event, Samsung is also anticipated to unveil a trio of tablets: the Galaxy Tab S8, S8 Plus, and S8 Ultra. The Galaxy Tab S7 was introduced alongside the Galaxy Note 20, therefore it is possible that it may be released alongside another product line.
